Our story

It started with one recipe card, written in cursive

Granny baked for church suppers, birthdays, funerals and Tuesdays. Nothing was measured out loud and everything came out right. When the family finally wrote her recipes down, we did it in her words — a scant cup, a good pinch, bake until it smells done.

Today those same cards run the kitchen. We cream real butter, roll crust cold, and let the dough rise on its own schedule. It takes longer. That’s the whole point.

“Granny makes these goodies to make people smile!”
