The case
The case changes with the seasons and with whatever Granny feels like baking. These three never leave.

Pulled from the oven each morning and finished with a thick blanket of glaze while they are still hot.

Chocolate chip, ginger crinkle and sugar cookies, stacked by the dozen and rarely lasting the morning.

Pecan brownies, cinnamon braids, streusel muffins and frosted cut-outs, all made from scratch in the back.
The deli cooler
Made from scratch in small batches and sold by the tub. Call (765) 426-1810 to reserve larger amounts or a tray for your gathering.
Creamy, smoky and the first tub out the door.
Zesty Italian grinder flavors tossed through cold pasta.
With sweet grapes and toasted pecans.
Just the way Granny has always made it.
Chopped fresh, never from a jar.
Sweet and spicy candied jalapeños.
The picnic classic, made from scratch.
Old-school, perfect on soft rolls or crackers.
Made fresh in small batches.
Made to order for gatherings.

Our story
Granny baked for church suppers, birthdays, funerals and Tuesdays. Nothing was measured out loud and everything came out right. When the family finally wrote her recipes down, we did it in her words — a scant cup, a good pinch, bake until it smells done.
Today those same cards run the kitchen. We cream real butter, roll crust cold, and let the dough rise on its own schedule. It takes longer. That’s the whole point.
“Granny makes these goodies to make people smile!”

We sketch the cake and set up a tasting in the shop.
Picked up chilled or delivered the morning of your event.
From the kitchen
Every photo here came out of Granny’s kitchen for a neighbor in Clinton County. Bring us your idea and we’ll make it in buttercream.
